About Matthew
I was born in 1978, raised in Leduc, and have always lived in Alberta. I graduated from the University of Alberta in 2004 with a Bachelor of Physical Education. In 2009 I started my business, Labour Neighbour, a property maintenance and landscaping company and then moved to Sturgeon County in 2014.
In 2021 I was elected to the Sturgeon County Council, and was re-elected to a second term in 2025. I also have a small farm where we make hay. In my spare time I enjoy classic cars, and enjoy spending time driving and restoring them. I am an active volunteer in the community, fundraising for various non-profits and our local church. I am a Christian and I am active with my church community.
